This policy explains what information Terso AI collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers our website, our products, and the custom systems we build and run for clients. If you have questions, email jake@tersoai.com.

Who we are

Terso AI builds and operates custom software, automation, and AI systems for businesses. When we build a system for a client, we act as a service provider (a data processor) handling data on that client's instructions.

Information we collect

  • Contact information you give us: name, email, company, and anything you send when you reach out or sign up.
  • Business data you ask us to process: documents, records, and content you or your client connect to a system we build, used only to provide that system.
  • Usage data: basic, standard website and product analytics (pages visited, general device information) to keep our services working.
  • Server logs: our hosting provider records the standard request information every web server receives, including IP address, browser type, and the page requested. We use it to keep the site running and secure.

Cookies, browser storage, and visitor identification

This website does not set advertising cookies and does not run a third-party advertising or profiling network. We do not use your visit to build a marketing profile of you.

Two things do run on these pages. Our booking tool, Calendly, loads on every page so you can schedule a call, and it sets its own cookies under its own privacy policy. Our lead forms keep a small amount of information in your browser's local storage so a partly filled form is not lost if you navigate away. You can clear both at any time in your browser settings.

We do not attempt to identify you personally as an anonymous visitor, and we do not buy or use a third-party identity service to attach your name or email to a visit you did not tell us about. If that ever changes, this section will say so plainly and will name the provider before the change takes effect.

How we use information

  • To provide, operate, maintain, and improve the products and systems you engage us for.
  • To communicate with you about your project, support, and account.
  • To meet legal and security obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use client business data to train any model outside that client's instance.

Google user data and the Limited Use requirements

Some Terso AI systems connect to Google services (for example, Gmail) at your direction and with your explicit consent through Google's OAuth screen. When they do:

  • We access only the specific Google data needed for the feature you enabled (for example, permission to send email on your behalf).
  • Terso AI's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
  • We do not sell Google user data, do not use it for advertising, and do not transfer or use it for purposes other than providing or improving the feature you enabled, except as required by law or with your consent.
  • You can revoke our access at any time in your Google Account security settings.

How we share information

We share information only with service providers that help us operate, under confidentiality obligations, and only as needed to run the service. Those providers fall into four categories: website and application hosting, scheduling (Calendly, when you book a call), email delivery, and the database that stores what you send us. We may disclose information if required by law. We never sell your data.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect information, including access controls, encryption in transit, and private infrastructure. No method is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and to limit access to what is necessary.

Data retention and your rights

We keep information only as long as needed to provide the service or meet legal obligations. You can ask us to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information by emailing jake@tersoai.com, and we will respond within a reasonable time.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted here with a new date.
